Viet Nguyen is a co-founder and executive director of EdMobilizer, which oversees the 1vyG Conference. He graduated from Brown in 2017, where he successfully advocated for the creation of the First-Gen, Low-income Students Center and the elimination of application fees for low-income students. He then served as president of the student body his senior year and now serves as a voting member on Brown’s Board of Trustees. He is a Fulbright Scholar and was recently named one of Forbes’ 30 under 30 in Education. He is currently an associate consultant at the Bridgespan Group, a non-profit consulting firm, and will be attending Stanford for his MBA in a year.
