Nico Slate participated in Quest Leadership in 1996 while attending a small public high school in the Mojave Desert. A historian who writes on social movements in the United States and India, Nico teaches at Carnegie Mellon University, directs SocialChange101.org, and strives to help low-income students thrive in college.
