Hyunsu is currently a consultant on the Transaction Advisory Services team at Ernst & Young, where he works with clients to complete large mergers & acquisitions projects. Prior to this role, Hyunsu worked at Goldentree Asset Management, a Vassar-alum founded hedge fund. These opportunities enabled him to develop a deeper understanding and passion for financial markets and the drivers of economic growth. With these experiences, he has been working on ways to assist those coming from low-income backgrounds to more effectively participate in passive wealth accumulation.
While at Vassar, Hyunsu majored in International Relations, with concentrations in Economics and Political Science and a geographic focus on the Korean Peninsula. His lifelong goal has been to work on Korean Reunification, and he spent a semester in Seoul working with North Korean students to ease their acclimation to South Korean society and its rigorous education system. Hyunsu grew up in Sacramento, California.
