WeWork Labs Manager, Seattle
Aileen is a Chicago-born, Seattle-based brand, business and community builder. Today she is the Seattle Manager of WeWork Labs, where she works as a business advisor and superconnector to help Seattle startups grow. Previously, she held many marketing roles at Microsoft, spanning emerging tech go-to-market, CEO communications, and product and partner strategy for mixed reality (VR/AR), “the startup within Microsoft.” Her mission is to help people build their economic confidence, and in doing so, grow diversity, equity and inclusion throughout my local economy. Fun fact: her identical twin is a tattoo artist and studio owner (follow @4thgradegoth on Instagram) and has taught her so much about the power research and community have in growing a business. Aileen graduated from Northwestern as a QuestBridge Scholar with a BA in Creative Writing and Communications Studies in 2015. She is and always will be a storyteller. Her words to live by? “There’s no such thing as too spicy.”
