Who should attend QB25?
The QB25 Scholar Summit is open to all QuestBridge Scholars and Alumni who were Finalists to the National College Match and who attended a QuestBridge college partner. You must be at least 18 years old to attend.

How much is registration?
Undergraduate Early Bird Registration Fee: $85
Undergraduate Regular Registration Fee: $100Alumni Early Bird Registration Fee: $130
Alumni Regular Registration Fee: $145QuestBridge will be covering the vast majority of the actual cost of QB25, so we hope many Scholars and Alumni will be able to attend! Please review our Attend page for all that is covered with this fee.

What is included in the cost of my registration?
The registration fee includes access to all QB25 programming, scheduled meals, and 2 nights of hotel accommodations at the Marriott Marquis or the Hilton Union Square. The hotel room is a double room and requires double occupancy (both must be registered attendees of QB25.) Room availability is based on a first-come, first-served basis.
We are pleased to offer a travel reimbursement policy that will help defray the costs of your travel, and expect that you use the most economical and cost efficient modes of travel. Learn more>>
Please note that the actual cost per person for QB25 exceeds $1,500 – most of which will be covered by QuestBridge and sponsors, so we hope that the drastically reduced registration fee as well as our travel reimbursement policy will make it possible for you to attend.

What meals are included?
Your QB25 registration fee covers the following meals: dinner on Friday; breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday; and breakfast and lunch on Sunday.

What are the registration deadlines?
The Early Bird registration deadline is April 1. The Regular registration deadline is June 1.

Can I get QB25 covered by my school or employer?
We encourage you to request employer sponsorship or school funding to help with the registration fee or any additional costs you may incur for QB25. For your convenience, we have created letter templates (Word documents) for you to download:

How long is QB25?
QB25 officially begins with a keynote on Friday, July 26 at 5:00 pm and will close at 2:00 pm on Sunday, July 28 following lunch and a keynote.
Registration will begin at 1:00 pm on Friday, July 26.

Can I attend just part of QB25, like only Saturday?
Yes, you can register for QB25 and only attend for part of the time; we’d recommend planning to attend for at least Saturday if possible. The cost of attendance remains the same no matter what length of time you attend, as QuestBridge is covering the majority of costs and have kept the registration fee low.

Can I pay to only attend one day of QB25?
QuestBridge is covering the majority of the actual cost of attendance to keep the QB25 registration fee low for our Scholars and Alumni. (The actual cost of attendance exceeds $1,500 per person.) Because of this, the fee is the same no matter what length of time you are able to attend.

Can I substitute/transfer someone else to attend the conference?
No. Transfers are not allowed.

I’m a current high school senior. Can I attend QB25?
No, current high school students, including those who will be rising college freshmen in the summer 2019, are not eligible to attend QB25. Volunteers and other registered attendees to QB25 must be currently attending a college partner or graduated from one.

Can I get a refund if I cancel my registration?
The QB25 registration fee is non-refundable.

How can I get involved with QB25?
QuestBridge Scholar and Alumni involvement is central to QB25. We will be updating our Engage page regularly with various ways to be involved, like volunteering to be a QB25 Volunteer.

How do I connect with other attendees prior to QB25?
We will be launching a QB25 app you can download onto your phone well in advance of the Summit. Please use the app to see who else is attending and to help with your planning. It will also serve as your primary schedule during the Summit.

Is there an attendee list?
We will provide you with different ways to connect with other attendees well in advance of the Summit.

Are there scholarships available?
We are pleased to offer scholarships to QuestBridge Scholars and Alumni who are in need of funding to cover the cost of the registration fee. Learn more >>
To apply for this scholarship, please complete the QB25 Scholarship Fund Request Form as soon as possible. We will notify you of the decision within 2 weeks. Do not register for QB25 until you receive your notification from us.

How do I contribute to the scholarship fund?
To donate to the scholarship fund, you can choose this option along with your ticket at checkout. If you can’t attend QB25 but would like to donate to a QuestBridge Scholar’s registration fee, you can use the code ‘donate’ at checkout.

I have never attended a conference, what should I expect?
Conferences are all about making connections with people, and we hope that QB25 will provide you with ample opportunities to connect with people who share common backgrounds, experiences, and interests. It will also be a valuable way to reflect on your story and growth, and possibly network with others for a future opportunity, so be open to meeting new people – both in and outside of sessions.

The dress code for QB25 is casual, but appropriate clothing. Please use your best judgment.

Will there be a variety of food options? I am vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free.
Yes, we will be able to accommodate vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free dietary needs.

Are travel costs covered?
Yes, we will cover travel expenses through our Travel Reimbursement process for all attendees, and expect that you use the most economical and cost efficient modes of travel. Please see our Travel Reimbursement Policy to learn more.

How do I get from SFO airport to the Marriott Marquis?
The fastest and most economical way to travel from the San Francisco International Airport (SFO) to the Marriott Marquis Hotel is to use Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART). Please view the instructions here.

If I drive, is there parking available?
Yes, you can park nearby at the Fifth and Mission garage.

When should I plan to arrive?
The program officially begins at 5:00 pm on Friday, July 26, but registration will be open starting at 1:00 pm.

Where do I stay?
We are covering a shared double room as part of the registration fee at the Marriott Marquis and the Hilton Union Square. Double rooms, as provided by QuestBridge, have two beds; each bed is for one QB25 registrant (and no additional guests). Room availability is based on a first-come, first-served basis.
If you would like your own room or will be staying with non-registered guests, you must reserve and pay for your own accommodations; it will not be covered by the registration fee.

I am local to the Bay Area, can I still stay at the hotel?
Yes, and your hotel room will be covered as a part of your registration fee.

Do I have to stay at the Marriott? Can I stay somewhere else?
Attendees are not required to stay at the Marriott, but this is where all of the events will take place. The Marriott Marquis and the Hilton Union Square are the only places where QuestBridge will cover hotel accommodations (based on first-come, first-served basis.)

Can I bring a guest?
QB25 is only open to registered attendees who are QuestBridge Scholars or Alumni. If you are traveling with guests, please encourage them to use our resources to explore the Bay Area. Guests will not be allowed into summit sessions.
If you require lodging for you and a guest, you will need to reserve your hotel accommodations separately – it will not be covered for you as a part of the registration fee.
