
After twenty years in the technology industry at companies like Microsoft, AT&T Wireless, McKinsey and various start-ups, Terra shifted gears and went to Stanford University to explore ways to promote more equity in the work force. At Stanford, she ran the Clayman Institute for Gender Research’s Corporate Program, which fosters partnerships between world-class academics and leading practitioners of D&I to use social science research to create meaningful, sustainable change.
Terra is Founder and Publisher of D&I In Practice, an information service that gives corporate leaders the latest research, best practices, and actionable tools they need to make diversity, equity and inclusion a reality.
After growing up in rural Georgia, Terra attend Stanford University on a need-based scholarship. She holds a BA from Stanford and an MBA from UC Berkeley.
